The Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament was founded in Paris, France, in 1856 by a French priest, Saint Peter Julian Eymard.  For 150 years, priests, deacons and brothers have reached all continents of the globe assisting the Church in her efforts to form Christian communities whose center of life is the Eucharist.  Their Eucharist evangelizing includes celebrating the sacraments, writing, teaching, preaching, counseling and working for justice.
